

St Joseph's Primary School, South Grafton
Established in 1858, St Joseph’s Primary School was the first Catholic Primary School in the Lismore Diocese and continues to provide high-quality Catholic Education for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6.
We have one class in each of the seven grades and cater for a wide range of students. We teach in collaborative and flexible learning spaces, carefully tailoring each lesson to each child’s needs. We pride ourselves in providing an inclusive, rich educational experience that is firmly focussed on growth for every child.

With the potential for a temporary Co2 Leader of Catechesis and Evangelisation leadership role

Applicants must:
- hold a current NSW Working with Children Check
- have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Criteria:
- have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
- able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
- understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of ability
- preferred experience in stage 1 [not essential]
- Demonstrated capacity to develop one’s self as a leader
- Capacity and skills to lead others to enable success for all students
- Ability to lead learning and change for improved student outcomes
To be eligible to apply for a (Co2) position a teacher would normally be a fulltime permanent teacher classified Step 2 Proficient on the Teachers Standards Classification.
Each teacher in a leadership position (Co2) will participate in an ongoing performance review in accordance with the Diocesan Policy & Procedures for Performance Review of Coordinators.
Your application should address the above criteria including the nomination of two (2) referees, including 1 reference from a Parish Priest, Priest or Minister.
