Please note that these positions are not located on the main JCCC campus. They are located at our West Park and Center of Grace locations. These positions are for an ELL instructor, not adjunct positions.
* Create and submit weekly lesson plans, utilizing the digital template provided, to the building lead.
* Learn and implement the required curriculum that emphasizes life skills, workplace skills, digital literacy, civics/citizenship and more. .
* Access and utilize the JCAE ELL website and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting.
* Maintain student data, attendance records and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting.
* Conference with learners at the beginning and end of the semester to discuss goals and growth.
* Participate in new student intake onboarding such as registration, orientation, and testing.
* Participate in staff development activities both online and in-person each semester.
* Completing all JCCC annual mandatory training and administrative requirements, as well as additional onboarding requirements for JCAE new teachers. These requirements may involve account setup, website access, lesson plan training, LMS training, data entry, and other tasks to prepare for the class.
* Access email regularly and read Weekly Updates to stay informed of expectations and upcoming events.
* Work with the building lead to schedule a formal observation. This will be followed by a debrief, and a follow up observation to confirm that recommendations have been implemented.
* Fill-in periodically for other teachers.

The ideal candidate is expected to teach American National Government and Introduction to Political Science and some combination of the following: Comparative Government, Political Theory, and other courses as needed. Course descriptions can be found in JCCC’s course catalog. In addition to teaching, the individual hired is expected to perform other duties as assigned. Assistant Professor Dental Hygiene

The JCCC Dental Hygiene program is seeking a full-time assistant professor to teach in both the didactic and clinical components of the program. Duties include 2 days per week in the clinical setting and didactic courses as assigned. This position is a 9-month contract within the bargaining unit of the College to begin August 2026.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate effective instructional teaching strategies, evaluate student learning and communicate with students. The faculty member will be responsible for preparing and teaching dental hygiene program material. Mentoring students in mastering course content, fostering critical thinking, creating a supportive learning environment, as well as evaluating student learning through course competencies are essential skills for this position. Providing timely formative and summative feedback and communicating regularly with students is required. The successful candidate will also complete all mandatory training, attend, and participate in required meetings, develop collegial collaboration with other faculty members and serve on department, division and/or other College committees. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.

The Executive Director, IT Security serves as JCCC’s senior information security leader, functioning as the institution’s de facto Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Reporting to the Vice President of Information Services and Chief Information Officer (CIO), this position provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all aspects of information security, cybersecurity risk management, identity and access management (IAM), regulatory compliance, and emerging technology governance across the college.
The Executive Director develops and executes a comprehensive, risk-based security program that protects college data, systems, and infrastructure while enabling JCCC’s educational mission. This role leads a team of security and IAM professionals; oversees security governance, policy, and compliance; and collaborates broadly with academic, administrative, and technical stakeholders to build a culture of security awareness and resilience throughout the college. The position also provides counsel on the secure adoption of cloud, AI, and other emerging technologies in alignment with institutional priorities.
