Adjunct Faculty, HVAC Overland Park Main Campus
The ideal candidate for Adjunct Assistant Professor HVAC, will have working knowledge and experience working with heat pumps, furnaces, and air conditioning equipment. This position requires the availability to teach between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm. Monday and Wednesday nights OR Tuesdays and Thursday nights.
Non - Credit Continuing Education Instructor - Heavy Equipment Operator Overland Park Main Campus
We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to conduct non-credit training classes. In this part-time role, instructors will assist in creating and updating content, teach non-credit students how to safely operate various pieces of heavy equipment, and be a liaison with off-site externship sites. Training will be delivered through actual hands-on equipment in a field situation and/or in a classroom on a simulator. Student Admissions Ambassador Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Admissions Ambassador at JCCC serves as a primary receptionist by greeting all guests and visiting campus community members. The Admissions Ambassador ensures that visitors are acknowledged and that they feel welcome. The Admissions Ambassadors support the Recruitment Coordinator and recruitment team. An integral component of the job is working as part of a team of students and recruitment staff to provide quality tours and visit experiences for all college guests. The Admissions Ambassador is a highly visible student employee who will have a vast array of knowledge about the Student Services and Engagement as well as academic and support programs across campus to provide accurate information to visitors. The Admissions Ambassadors will be a part of a collaborative recruitment department that supports coworkers by utilizing available computer systems and technology to maintain accurate databases and information for reporting purposes.
HVAC Maintenance Mechanic Overland Park Main Campus
Install and maintain the mechanical and electrical components of the heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems, such as motors, compressors, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, thermostats, and switches for Johnson County Community College (JCCC). Install, maintain, and troubleshoot errors on campus fire alarm systems and devices.
Senior Internal Auditor Overland Park Main Campus
The Senior Internal Auditor will play a key role in managing and optimizing internal audit activities at Johnson County Community College (JCCC). Reporting to the Director of Audit and Advisory Services, this position is responsible for leading and executing internal audits, assessing compliance with regulations, identifying risks, and recommending process improvements. Assistant Professor, Emergency Medical Science Overland Park Main Campus
Primary instructional responsibilities encompass teaching EMS courses across all levels. Coordination duties involve managing clinical and field affiliate relations, providing student counseling, supervising lab clinicians, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. Instruct EMS courses as needed, including evening and weekend sessions when required. Develop course schedules and serve as the primary liaison between the program and clinical and field internship agencies. CDL A Instructor – Truck Driver Trainer Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking experienced CDL Truck Drivers to conduct CDL training classes. JCCC offers commercial truck driver training courses to prepare new drivers for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A. In this role, we instruct people how to properly conduct pre-trip inspections and safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. This is a part-time position. Number of workdays per month are flexible. Hours are based on course schedules and could include weekdays, evenings, and weekends as available.
ASL and Deaf Studies Adjunct Instructor Overland Park Main Campus
Teach ASL Classes including ASL 120, ASL 121, ASL 122, ASL 123, ASL 135 (ASL Linguistics), ASL 145 (Intro to the Deaf Community), ASL 147 (Fingerspelling), and/or ASL 150 (ASL Literature). Classes will be offered during daytime AND evening hours in all semesters (Fall, Spring, and Summer)

Police Officer Overland Park Main Campus
Provide law enforcement and public safety services to the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) community. This includes enforcement of criminal statutes with full arrest authority, parking and traffic enforcement, crime prevention, patrol activity, accident investigation, resolution of domestic and other disturbances, prosecution support, non-criminal public safety services, and enforcement of college policies, rules, and regulations.
Child Care Aide Overland Park Main Campus
Aid in the preparation and implementation of a program appropriate for a designated group of young children when assigned to fill in for other staff members at the Hiersteiner Child Development Center (HCDC).
