Compensation Manager Overland Park Main Campus
The Compensation Manager works closely with the Vice President and Director of the Human Resources Department. This position is responsible for developing and leading Johnson County Community College’s (JCCC) compensation program and initiatives. The Compensation Manager provides strategic input to the development of compensation policies and practices, offers compensation advice and support, and conducts internal and external pay analysis. The role also ensures that JCCC’s compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
Non-Credit Continuing Ed Instructor- Apple Vision Pro Trainer Overland Park Main Campus

CDL A Instructor – Truck Driver Trainer Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking experienced CDL Truck Drivers to conduct CDL training classes. JCCC offers commercial truck driver training courses to prepare new drivers for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A. In this role, we instruct people how to properly conduct pre-trip inspections and safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. This is a part-time position. Number of workdays per month are flexible. Hours are based on course schedules and could include weekdays, evenings, and weekends as available.

Fitness Center Monitor Overland Park Main Campus

Adjunct Instructor - Health and Wellness Overland Park Main Campus
The Health and Wellness Department is seeking adjunct faculty to teach credit physical education and wellness activity courses within the department curriculum. JCCC is looking for a diverse pool of applicants to fill several classes. These classes vary by semester, but may include any activity courses we offer. Including by not limited to : Basketball, Volleyball, Pickleball, Weight Training, Self Defense etc. These courses are taught every semester and may vary with regards to time and days each semester.

Coordinator, Student Belonging Overland Park Main Campus
Reporting to the Executive Director for Inclusion & Belonging, the Coordinator of Student Belonging will develop and implement impactful programs that foster student belonging on campus. This will be achieved through collaboration with internal and external partners to enhance student access and success as well as dedicated support to targeted student groups. This role will maintain accurate programming data while contributing to a vibrant campus community.
Lab Instructor Fire Science Overland Park Main Campus
Faculty members are expected to demonstrate and maintain competence in each of the following areas throughout their employment at the college. Lab Instructors teach requisite firefighting skills to prepare students for third party state firefighter certification pertaining to four core curriculums (Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, Fire I, Fire II). Lab Instructors work with, teach, and maintain fire equipment (chain saws, ladders, breathing apparatus, personal protective gear, extrication equipment) to ensure students receive quality and emergency services operations and delivery. Ability to interpret and evaluate theories in the field or discipline and connect subject matter with related fields. Plan and organize instruction in ways which maximize student learning. Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies. Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs. Create and/or modify course revisions appropriate to current Fire and Emergency Services principles and delivery methods. Employ available instructional technology when appropriate. Serve as proctor on the Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT). Required Qualifications:
Coordinator, Workplace Belonging Overland Park Main Campus
Reporting directly to the Executive Director for Inclusion & Belonging, the Coordinator of Workplace Belonging will serve as the internal liaison and support for employees on sense of belonging, assisting the Executive Director of Inclusion and Belonging with strategy and initiative implementation. This role will provide ongoing support to increase employees' cultural competency and help facilitate programming focused on belonging and cultural awareness using a strengths-based approach.
