Campus Police Dispatcher Overland Park Main Campus
The Campus Police Dispatcher, supports the JCCC mission by ensuring the safety and security of the campus community through the rapid, accurate management of emergency communications and surveillance resources. This role is responsible for the critical triage of incidents, the coordination of field personnel, and the maintenance of operational compliance with federal and state safety mandates.
Frankenthaler Education Intern Overland Park Main Campus
The museum seeks to hire a dedicated individuals with relevant experience at the Nerman Museum to work alongside the Manager of Learning and Academic Engagement. The individual will work with museum administrative staff members to engage in a curatorial practicum and to implement the museum’s mission, policies and procedures for interpretive activities, services and programs.
Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.

The CONNECT Peer Mentor serves as a peer support for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are enrolled in the CONNECT Supported Education Program. The mentor position is key to the success of CONNECT students learning to navigate the campus, learning social skills and becoming connected with the resources of JCCC. Similar positions would include student ambassadors.
Assistant Professor, Information Technology Overland Park Main Campus
This faculty position in the Information Technology department is within the Computing Sciences and Information Technology Division. The Faculty member is expected to possess expert level knowledge in the IT discipline. The Faculty member will carry teaching load in a variety of IT areas including: networking, systems administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. The faculty member is expected to demonstrate competence in mastery of subject matter, professional development, teaching performance, evaluation of student learning, participation in college/division/program activities, support college policies and procedures, and contribution to the growth and enhancement of college mission and programs. This position demands a positive team player, with leadership and project management skills. Program Director, Carl D. Perkins Grant Overland Park Main Campus
Administer and manage all aspects of the Carl D. Perkins career and technical federal grant program (including related Kansas Board of Regents career and technical education grants), provide leadership for the career and technical education partnerships that support the Governor’s Career and Technical Education CTE) Initiative (SB 155), and manage off-campus sites that promote career and technical course offerings and programs for Johnson County Community College (JCCC).

ELL Instructor West Park (WPK)
JCCC is searching for non-credit instructors to teach English to non-native speakers by emphasizing reading, vocabulary development, listening, speaking, writing and grammar in a student-centered classroom environment at JCAE locations. Please note that these positions are not located on the main JCCC campus. They are located at our West Park and Center of Grace locations. These positions are for an ELL instructor, not adjunct positions. * Create and submit weekly lesson plans, utilizing the digital template provided, to the building lead. * Learn and implement the required curriculum that emphasizes life skills, workplace skills, digital literacy, civics/citizenship and more. . * Access and utilize the JCAE ELL website and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting. * Maintain student data, attendance records and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting. * Conference with learners at the beginning and end of the semester to discuss goals and growth. * Participate in new student intake onboarding such as registration, orientation, and testing. * Participate in staff development activities both online and in-person each semester. * Completing all JCCC annual mandatory training and administrative requirements, as well as additional onboarding requirements for JCAE new teachers. These requirements may involve account setup, website access, lesson plan training, LMS training, data entry, and other tasks to prepare for the class. * Access email regularly and read Weekly Updates to stay informed of expectations and upcoming events. * Work with the building lead to schedule a formal observation. This will be followed by a debrief, and a follow up observation to confirm that recommendations have been implemented. * Fill-in periodically for other teachers. Daytime and Evening shifts available.
Evening English Connection Instructor West Park (WPK)
Provide English instruction to students who are transitioning from basic life-skill English classes into GED-level academic coursework, college transition or higher career placement. Instruction will be in reading, grammar, writing, vocabulary development, civics, and digital literacy at an intermediate to low-advanced level. Development of daily lesson plans to keep student attention, adhere to state and local academic standards and increase student success. Facilitate standardized testing for benchmarking. Engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners. Create reports and maintain records. Participate in professional development events.
Evening Adult Basic Education/GED Instructor West Park (WPK)
Provide learner-centered instruction for basic literacy and math through high school equivalency/college readiness skills in reading, writing, math computation, applied math, science, and social studies in preparation for taking the 2014 GED® exam. Create individual education plans for each learner and monitor progress toward passing the 2014 GED® exam. Instruct students one-on-one and in small groups. Guide and supervise ongoing study. Engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners. Create reports and maintain records. Participate in professional development events.
Tutor I - Physics Overland Park Main Campus
Physics tutor provides academic support for challenging courses such as College Physics, Engineering Physics, Statics, Dynamics, and some courses in Electronics Technology. Tutor students through a variety of modalities and methods, refer students to other relevant resources, and assist with daily activities in the relevant resource center for Johnson County Community College (JCCC).

Adjunct Faculty, Political Science Overland Park Main Campus
JCCC is looking for a qualified pool of applicants for a part-time political science faculty position who will begin teaching Spring 2027 (with potential for earlier). The ideal candidate is expected to teach American National Government and Introduction to Political Science and some combination of the following: Comparative Government, Political Theory, and other courses as needed. Course descriptions can be found in JCCC’s course catalog. In addition to teaching, the individual hired is expected to perform other duties as assigned. Teaching assignments are subject to change, and could be any combination of face-to-face (day or evening) and online. All applications must be submitted via the JCCC jobs portal. Assistant Professor Dental Hygiene Overland Park Main Campus
The JCCC Dental Hygiene program is seeking a full-time assistant professor to teach in both the didactic and clinical components of the program. Duties include 2 days per week in the clinical setting and didactic courses as assigned. This position is a 9-month contract within the bargaining unit of the College to begin August 2026. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate effective instructional teaching strategies, evaluate student learning and communicate with students. The faculty member will be responsible for preparing and teaching dental hygiene program material. Mentoring students in mastering course content, fostering critical thinking, creating a supportive learning environment, as well as evaluating student learning through course competencies are essential skills for this position. Providing timely formative and summative feedback and communicating regularly with students is required. The successful candidate will also complete all mandatory training, attend, and participate in required meetings, develop collegial collaboration with other faculty members and serve on department, division and/or other College committees. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.
Executive Director ITS/Chief Security Officer Overland Park Main Campus
The Executive Director, IT Security serves as JCCC’s senior information security leader, functioning as the institution’s de facto Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Reporting to the Vice President of Information Services and Chief Information Officer (CIO), this position provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all aspects of information security, cybersecurity risk management, identity and access management (IAM), regulatory compliance, and emerging technology governance across the college. The Executive Director develops and executes a comprehensive, risk-based security program that protects college data, systems, and infrastructure while enabling JCCC’s educational mission. This role leads a team of security and IAM professionals; oversees security governance, policy, and compliance; and collaborates broadly with academic, administrative, and technical stakeholders to build a culture of security awareness and resilience throughout the college. The position also provides counsel on the secure adoption of cloud, AI, and other emerging technologies in alignment with institutional priorities.
