The NMU Biology Department seeks a full-time, One Year Term (9 month) Faculty Member to support our efforts in introductory biology courses for majors and non-majors. This position primarily works with courses in the general and ecological/organismal areas. Primary work includes coordination of introductory lab sections for large introductory courses with supervision of graduate teaching assistant and adjunct lab instructors, teaching of introductory non-majors course lectures (Biological Sciences, Northern Ecosystems), and instruction of introductory labs and student support courses. This position also oversees student employees and coordinates student access to building facilities. This is a campus based position. |

Food Service Worker II-Barista Specialist:

Provide skills and perform duties necessary to lead and engage the staff in the preparation and resale of various beverages, food and retail items, ensuring operational success through excellent customer service and maintaining store standards. Assist in the analysis, upkeep, programming, and general day-to-day activities associated with the University broadband system and physical network infrastructure. Assist in the deployment of network and wireless gear including installation of equipment racks, wire management, cable wire pulling and installation. Work will be performed at NMU on-campus and off-site locations.

Responsible for the overall management and coordination of assigned projects which includes implementation and oversight of a diverse range of administrative and programmatic activities, including, but not limited to supervising program/project staff, planning and coordinating activities, and developing, documenting and maintaining project data and systems.
