The counselor is a full-time, 10-month role within the NMU Counseling and Consultation Services Center (CCS). The candidate will be housed in the Wellbeing Center and embedded with the Athletic Department to provide specialized support. The role involves delivering comprehensive counseling to NMU students with partial provision of services dedicated to student athletes.
Responsibilities are those of a professional university counseling center clinician and include individual and group therapy, assessment, outreach programming and consultation using a brief therapy model.
