Adjunct Instructor - Construction Management

| We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach one course or a variety of courses, in one or more of the following degree programs: Building Construction Technology AAS, and Construction Management BS. In addition to the more common topics associated with the degree programs, experience in construction, surveying, construction finance, construction law, and virtual design and construction will be considered. Assignments may be lectures or labs; face-to-face, blended, or online; in Big Rapids. A focus on student success, office hours, and the use of current technology is expected. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan by the first day of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date for this position is August 2026 at the earliest, and January 2027 at the latest. |

| Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience, the Digital Marketing Specialist, Web Content is responsible for developing and maintaining engaging, search-optimized website content that supports Ferris State University’s marketing and enrollment efforts. This role collaborates across departments to manage web updates, oversee academic program landing pages, and support internal communications. They also play a critical role in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy, keyword tracking, and organic content development to improve search rankings and user engagement. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future. The university will not assist with any F-1 EADs, OPT, H-1 B, etc. |
