Standby tutoring means tutors are hired based on potential needs and are available on demand. Standby tutors are not guaranteed hours but are expected to be available when there is a need or demand for on-site tutoring.
For example, if a student needs help with a specific course and a standby tutor has availability in Navigate, the student can schedule a tutoring session. The tutor will receive an email nomination and then meet the student in the Tutoring Center to provide academic support.
