| Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) in Grand Rapids, MI prepares artists and designers to have impact through practice. Responsibilities for a KCAD adjunct faculty member include syllabus and class preparation, instruction during scheduled course time, providing reasonable availability to students for consultation and assistance with respect to assigned course(s), evaluation of student performance, submission of mid-term and final grades on the FSU Banner system, and archiving of both course material and student work as requested by the program chair and/or the Dean of the College. The Interior Design Program seeks to cultivate interior designers who are engaged in innovative and creative human-centered solutions that contribute to the advancement of the profession. We are looking for a designer that can help us teach the next generation about the design process and to share the skills of the profession in the classroom. The program is seeking candidates for a broad range of interior design studio courses within an established curriculum. The teaching assignment is based upon skill, demonstrated competency, and depth of understanding of the design process and the profession. Courses are to be taught in person on FSU's KCAD campus in Grand Rapids, MI. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. | The Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) program, part of the School of Engineering and Computing Technologies (SECT), invites applications for a 9-month, tenured-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Primary responsibilities include preparing and delivering courses, utilizing effective methods that ensure that all course outcomes are met. Tenure at a previous institution is required to be hired at the rank of Associate Professor. Courses are primarily delivered face-to-face in the classroom/lab at the main campus in Big Rapids, although online delivery may be required for some courses. Additional responsibilities generally include advising students, internship coordination, recruiting students, developing industry relationships, developing curriculum, and serving on various committees within the university. Teaching at regional satellite campuses may also be required. Working with student organizations is highly encouraged. Faculty in MET are expected to teach a variety of courses across the curriculum, teaching both lower and upper undergraduate division courses in an ETAC/ABET accredited Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) program. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. Up to 30 hours of MiRegistry approved training may be used to meet these requirements; Option C: 6 months minimum experience and One of the following: A valid child development associate credential, Montessori credential, Infant Family Associate Credential, Associate degree or higher in any field of study. The Preparator assists in planning, preparation, security, installation, and de-installation of gallery exhibitions and other display materials.
