To coordinate and provide oversight in the University's comprehensive NCAA compliance program. The position will oversee monitoring documentation of all compliance activities as required by NCAA, GLIAC, CCHA and Ferris State University for institutional control measures. The position shall be responsible for record keeping, rules interpretations, rules education and will serve as the primary interface with FSU's Associate Registrar on all NCAA eligibility concerns and its Athletic Financial Aid Officer. The Coordinator of Compliance and Student Success will oversee all areas of academic success including overseeing study tables, working with academic advisors on registration and advising the Student Athlete Advisory Council. Required: Bachelor's degree. One year working in an intercollegiate athletic department. |

Ferris State University is seeking a well-qualified and experienced applicant for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position to serve within the School of Criminal Justice. The responsibilities will include teaching courses in the School of Criminal Justice program both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, the prospective faculty member will collaborate with faculty on curriculum development, perform academic advising, and serve on various levels of committee support of the University, College and Department. The candidate will also maintain regularly scheduled office hours, support a research agenda, and continue their professional development. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University’s campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2025 at the earliest and January of 2026 at the latest. Required: Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related discipline. ABD will be considered. A terminal degree is required for tenure, in accordance with applicable tenure policy. Candidate will have at least five years’ experience in the United States Criminal Justice System. Candidate will have experience teaching at the higher education level. The Department is seeking a qualified individual to teach a selection of undergraduate courses in sales. The ideal candidate should be able to teach various sales-related courses (e.g., Professional Selling, Sales Management, and Advanced Selling. Teaching graduate courses in sales might also be required. The candidate will participate in developing and improving curriculum and curriculum delivery, assessment of student learning, service work including student engagement activities and committees, and engage in scholarly activities and professional development aligned with current and emergent programmatic needs. The candidate will assist to grow and expand the sales program. Faculty members have professional responsibilities, including advising students, participating in committees, keeping regularly posted office hours, and participating in traditional functions with academic significance. Faculty members may be required to teach off-campus and/or online. Courses will be in-person on one of Ferris State University's campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. An adjunct instructor is needed to teach an undergraduate Finance course as part of Ferris State University's Prison Education Program at Thumb Correctional Facility in Lapeer, Michigan. This position requires face-to-face instruction at the facility. The course to be taught is FINC 322 Financial Management 1 - The environment, goals, and techniques of financial management; emphasizes both investment and financing decisions; incorporates control techniques including ratio analysis, budgeting, and forecasting; includes time value of money, bond and stock values, the use of operating and financial leverage, capital budgeting techniques, cost of capital, and basic information concerning international financial management. This posting is being used for face-to-face instruction, and the candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The start date of this position is August 2025. Required: Master’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university, OR Master's degree in Finance or Accounting. Certification in Finance or Accounting (e.g. CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.). Successful candidates will need to complete a background check through LEIN, the Michigan Department of Corrections/MDOC Contractors training through Mi-TRAIN, and an on-site orientation.
