Summary of Position: |
Assist in Katke Golf Pro Shop with a variety of tasks including assisting customers in person and on phone, retail merchandising, cash handling and point-of-sales operations, event assistance, and other duties as needed. |

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
Position responsibilities include assisting with tournament operations, answering phone calls, and assisting members and guests with tee times and check in upon arrival to the course. Golf cart duties, setting up the course and practice areas, working in the Pro Shop and Janke Learning Center are also part of the position. Duties in these areas include receiving, restocking, and displaying merchandise, cash handling and operating point of sale system, assisting customers with products, setting up customers with Trackman bays, indoor and outdoor range ball coverage, maintaining organization and light cleaning of all areas. Position requires demonstrated strong customer service skills.Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members. Support, promote, and develop University student enrollment and retention initiatives. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area. |
