| The candidate will teach a broad spectrum of undergraduate Computer Information System classes as needed. Classes may include: programming (Java, Python, etc.), database design/ implementation/ administration, web development, systems analysis and design, and ERP (SAP) systems. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date is August 2025 at the earliest or January 2026 at the latest. Required: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field, OR Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology. Candidates with appropriate certifications and relevant teaching experience are preferred. Three years of industry experience in IS or IT related field with direct experience in one of the areas to be taught. |

The School of Digital Media (SDM) at Ferris offers Bachelor's degrees that seek to provide applied learning experiences for students through small class sizes and project-oriented coursework. Full-time, term-appointment faculty members at KCAD teach 18 semester credit hours per academic year, typically 3 courses each fall and spring semester. | This temporary position provides support in food service production by assisting in food preparation and other service needs in dining, working up to 40 hours a week. Duties will include preparation of entrees and soups, short order cooking, assisting with salad and bakery product preparation, ware-washing and maintenance, and preparation of service areas. Individuals in this position will be exposed to all food types (ex. shellfish, peanuts, & fruit) in an environment where industrial strength cleaners are used. Work hours may vary and you may be required to be on-call. Primary responsibilities include preparing and delivering courses, utilizing effective methods that ensure that all course outcomes are met. Tenure at a previous institution is required to be hired at the rank of Associate Professor. Courses are primarily delivered face-to-face in the classroom/lab at the main campus in Big Rapids, although online delivery may be required for some courses. Additional responsibilities generally include advising students, internship coordination, recruiting students, developing industry relationships, developing curriculum, and serving on various committees within the university. Teaching at regional satellite campuses may also be required. Working with student organizations is highly encouraged.
