The incumbent is responsible for providing expert financial aid counseling and guidance to students and families regarding financial aid eligibility, cost of attendance, borrowing and debt management, and related matters. The position requires maintaining a high level of expertise in institutional, state, and federal financial aid regulations and programs, with the ability to communicate complex financial aid concepts effectively to a diverse range of constituents, including students, parents and families, faculty and staff, and executive leadership. The incumbent develops, implements, and manages policies, procedures, and processes that ensure the effective and compliant administration and distribution of financial aid resources. This role focuses on leveraging operational efficiencies and maximizing available funds to support institutional enrollment goals, student recruitment and retention, and overall student success. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future. Coordinator of Revenue Generation, Marketing and Advancement Big Rapids, MI 49307

Student Activities Specialist Big Rapids, MI 49307
Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean of Student Life, assist in the overall coordination of functions and activities within the Center for Student Involvement. Work independently to coordinate the functions of Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), oversee the application, distribution and processes of the Student Activity Fund (SAF), plan and implement small-scale daytime drop-in events and engagement opportunities for students, coordinate campus use of outdoor grounds and related spaces in accordance with university policies and procedures, and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages student involvement, engagement, and connection to the university community. This is a fully in-person position.
Administrator for TPSID grant and Ready for Life Program Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Administrator oversees the daily operations of the Network. This role involves managing grant staff and functions. The incumbent will collaborate with the Evaluator to develop outcome measurement tools that accurately assess the effectiveness of Network strategies and activities. The individual will work closely with the PD to manage the budget and ensure compliance with grant requirements and University policies. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they pursue goals of independent living and paid employment. This position oversees academic programming, student advising, interdepartmental collaboration, and staff supervision to ensure a high-quality, inclusive educational experience. The Administrator will spend 5% of his/her time participating in activities such as regular meetings or conference calls sponsored by the TPSID Coordination Center and will ensure the availability of allocated time for project personnel to support conference planning. This is a multi-year grant commencing January 1st, 2026, and concluding January 31, 2031. This is a two-year temporary position. The position is renewable for the term of the grant. The anticipated start date of this position is July 2026. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
Degree Works Specialist Big Rapids, MI 49307
Primary responsibilities include programming for Ferris' degree audit platform, MyDegree (Degree Works by Ellucian). This position scribes curricular changes, generates reports, reviews curriculum proposals, and provides customer service related to MyDegree. This is a full-time, continuing position. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future. The university will not assist with any F-1 EADs, OPT, H-1 B, etc. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency.
