The Assistant Tennis Coach will assist the head coach with all aspects of planning, organizing and supervising a highly competitive NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Tennis program. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and energy. Also, must be committed to the Ferris State University Athletic Department's vison and core values of collaboration, diversity, ethical community, excellence, learning and opportunity. This is a nine-month position from September 1st to May 30th that will work approximately 22 hours a week @ $14.00 an hour. Required: Bachelor's Degree. At least two years of intercollegiate playing experience, or coaching collegiate tennis or high school tennis. |

Assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Ferris State University Division II athletic programs. Assist Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in department wide administration of strength and conditioning, including but not limited to weight room scheduling and oversight and management of student employees. Pursuant to FSU-HRPP 2005:44, "Students currently admitted on a full-time basis, defined as carrying at least 9 credits per semester, to a Ferris State University graduate program and earning credits toward a graduate degree, may qualify for a Graduate Project Assistant (GPA) position". This is a 20 hour per week position. Work Year is August 1 - May 31. Required: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in exercise science, sports fitness, kinesiology or related field. Must be enrolled in a Ferris State University Graduate program for Fall 2025 semester, carrying at least 9 credits per semester. Must be working towards or already obtained Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. Must become certified in CPR, AED and First Aid. Previous work experience developing and maintaining strength and conditioning programs for student athletes. |

The Academic Advisor, Assistant Ranking will provide academic advising for majors in University College that will include assisting students in the development of academic plans and course schedules, advising on academic program changes and meeting with prospective students and their families. Other duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with summer orientation and registration, responding to inquiries regarding programs, and maintaining timely communication with students. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2025. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Required: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. At least one year of relevant experience, preferable in a higher education setting with student support assignment. |

Adjunct Instructor 1 for the Health Administration/Health Information Department. This position includes teaching core and interdisciplinary health courses in the College of Health Professions. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's campuses, or at a Kent County high school. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. The candidate(s) selected for the position(s) must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2025 at the earliest and January of 2026 at the latest. However, these are estimated dates and can be revised if needed. Required: Master's degree in a health sciences/health-related area or a master's degree in education. Three or more years of health-related work experience or teaching experience. |

For in-person or hybrid teaching position, courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. Such candidate(s) selected for this position must reside in Michigan, after acceptance of employment. For 100% online teaching positions, courses are to be taught online. Such candidate(s) selected for this position must reside in one of the following states while performing services for Ferris State University: Michigan, Illinois (excluding Chicago), Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin, after acceptance of employment. The start date for this position is August 2025 or January 2026. Required: Master’s degree in African American Studies or Africana Studies; OR Master's degree in another related field in the Humanities or Social Sciences with 18 graduate credit hours in African American Studies and/or Africana Studies coursework; OR a combination of cognate courses such as Anthropology, English, Art History, Sociology, History, American Studies, and/or Philosophy.
