| The Preparator will work closely with the Exhibitions Curator to produce high-quality exhibitions. The Preparator assists in planning, preparation, security, installation, and de-installation of gallery exhibitions and other display materials. Key responsibilities include; training and supervision of temporary work crews and student gallery workers on gallery installations, preparation and maintenance of exhibitions, storage, and preparatory spaces. Required: BA or BFA in Art, Art History, Museum Studies, BA in Design, or related field. Scissor Lift Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hire. At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in art handling, gallery/museum work, or fabrication/installation, with an emphasis on preparation/installation strongly preferred. |

| The Public Safety Officer is a sworn law enforcement position which involves protecting life and property, and the preservation of peace and good order through the enforcement of laws, ordinances, and policy. Duties include responding to emergency and non-emergency police calls for service, responsibility for performing assigned police work of varying degree of difficulty, utilizing community-oriented/problem-solving techniques which include community engagement, resource development, the enforcement of laws and ordinances, crime prevention, detection and investigation, apprehension of violators, and other related police functions. | Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) in Grand Rapids, MI, prepares artists and designers to have impact through practice. Responsibilities for a KCAD adjunct faculty member include syllabus and class preparation, instruction during scheduled course time, providing reasonable availability to students for consultation and assistance with respect to assigned course(s), evaluation of student performance, submission of final grades on the FSU Banner system, and archiving of both course material and student work as requested by the program chair and/or the Dean of the College. The mission of the Graphic Design program of Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) is to graduate problem-solving, critical-thinking design innovators and creative communicators who are skilled in the latest technology, able to work collaboratively in a studio environment, and are passionate about art, design, and contemporary culture. Teaching assignments within the BFA Graphic Design Program include a series of introductory to intermediate design-related content and software/technology-based courses, for example, introductory and immediate typography, publication design and production management, and contemporary media (web and application design). Courses are to be taught in person on KCAD’s campus in Grand Rapids, MI. Online course delivery may be an option. Adjunct Instructor 1 - Dental Hygiene Clinical

| Supervision and evaluation of students in pre-clinical, clinical, and laboratory dental hygiene sessions, dental radiology, oral science or dental materials lab sessions. Will work at the direction of the Dental Hygiene Clinic Operations Supervisor. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2025 at the earliest and January 2026 at the latest. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Required: Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited dental hygiene program, or a related field. Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist with certification in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, CPR, and licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. Two years clinical experience. |
