This is a tenure-track, 12-month position for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the Pharmacy Practice Department at Ferris State University College of Pharmacy. We encourage individuals to apply who have experience in ambulatory care practice settings and a strong commitment to student-centered education and the teacher/scholar model. Teaching responsibilities will include core courses in pharmacy practice skills, therapeutics, self-care, and pharmaceutical calculations at both the Big Rapids and Grand Rapids campuses. Candidates will also be expected to provide academic support and coordinate team-taught courses. Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to engage in ambulatory clinical practice at an established practice site. Engagement in individual or collaborative research projects, as well as scholarship involving student participation, will complement teaching responsibilities. Other duties will include contributing to the department, college, university, and profession through participation on committees, as well as providing professional advice, mentoring, and preceptorship to students. Ongoing professional development will also be expected. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's campuses. The candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is June of 2025 at the earliest and August of 2025 at the latest. |

We encourage individuals with a strong commitment to student-centered education and the teacher/scholar model to apply. Teaching responsibilities will include core courses in pharmacy administration at both the Big Rapids and Grand Rapids campuses. Candidates will also be expected to provide academic support and coordinate team-taught courses. Additionally, the successful candidate may teach an elective course in their area of expertise. Engagement in individual or collaborative research projects, as well as scholarship involving student participation, will complement teaching responsibilities. Evidence of research/scholarship related to area of specialty. Candidates with associate or full professor levels must demonstrate records of excellence in scholarship, including extramural fund experience and a principal investigator role in the research. Full professor level candidates must be tenured. Associate professor level candidates must be tenured or eligible for tenure. Assistant professor-level candidates are expected to demonstrate potential for establishing independent research or collaborative research. |
Instructor/Assistant Professor of Illustration (Full-time term appointment, non-tenure track)

Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) in Grand Rapids, MI prepares artists and designers to have impact through practice. Fulltime faculty members at KCAD teach 18 semester credit hours per academic year, typically 3 courses each fall and spring semester. As a KCAD term appointment faculty member, you will engage in three kinds of professional development: continuous improvement in teaching effectiveness, creative and/or scholarly contribution within your discipline, and a college service commitment that includes committee work and community engagement for the advancement of KCAD’s mission. You will actively advise students regarding their academic plan and progress as well as their co-curricular and post-graduation opportunities. This is a full-time, term (temporary), non-tenure-track faculty appointment with the possibility of renewal. Courses are to be taught in person on KCAD’s campus in Grand Rapids. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The Illustration Program challenges students to express ideas, engage the narrative, and communicate specifically and effectively both traditionally and digitally. A course of study emphasizing the history, technique, production, and critique of illustration prepares graduates for a wide variety of opportunities in illustration including natural science illustration, children’s book illustration, comic book, editorial, and freelance work. Teaching assignments within the BFA Illustration Program include a full range of technical, aesthetic, and theoretical subjects from beginning to advanced level. |

The Social and Behavioral Sciences Department in the College of Arts, Sciences and Education seeks applicants to provide instruction for a variety of face-to-face and online Psychology courses on the Big Rapids, MI campus. Needs vary from semester to semester and may include Introduction to Psychology and/or other Psychology courses as determined by instructor qualification and departmental needs. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis.
