The College of Engineering and Technology at Ferris State University invites applications for Adjunct Instructor positions in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) program. We seek a diverse pool of highly qualified individuals who are passionate about teaching and preparing the next generation of skilled HVACR technicians and industry professionals. Adjunct instructors may teach courses across a variety of HVACR-related disciplines, including residential and commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration, controls and automation, electrical fundamentals, system design, installation practices, diagnostics and troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, energy management, building systems, and emerging technologies within the industry. Ferris State University is committed to providing career-oriented, hands-on education that prepares students for successful careers and lifelong learning. Faculty members play a vital role in creating meaningful educational experiences that connect classroom learning with real-world application. The anticipated start dates for these positions are August 2026 at the earliest and January 2027 at the latest. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or approved FSU sites.

The Mathematics Department at Ferris State University seeks instructors for one or more math courses on a semester-by-semester basis. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is used for face-to-face and/or online instruction. For in-person or hybrid teaching positions, candidates must reside in Michigan after being accepted for employment. Courses are to be taught in person at Ferris State University’s Big Rapids campus. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date will be August 2026 or January 2027. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future.

The School of Design and Manufacturing invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the Materials Science and Technology (MATL) program. This position requires teaching undergraduate-level lectures and laboratory coursework in a "hands-on" academic environment. To facilitate this, adjunct faculty are expected to be student-oriented and able to integrate practical experience and current technology into the learning environment. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan by the first day of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date for this position is August 2026 at the earliest, and January 2027 at the latest. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future.

The College of Health Professions seeks a part-time Radiography Lab Assistant to assist Radiography program faculty in the laboratory setting for up to 28 hours per week during student sessions. Some evenings may be required. The anticipated date for this position is August of 2026 at the earliest and January of 2027 at the latest; however, this is an estimate and may be revised if needed.
