The Physical Sciences Department at Ferris State University seeks applicants for a non-tenure track chemistry lecturer position. The successful candidate will teach lectures and labs for courses including organic chemistry, general (introductory) chemistry, and/or biochemistry. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State's sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan by the first day of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or approved FSU sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future. The university will not assist with any F-1 EADs, OPT, H-1 B, etc. The start date of this position is August 2026.
Adjunct Instructor - Medical Laboratory Science - Immunohematology Instruction	Big Rapids, MI 49307	10 Feb 2027
Primary responsibilities include providing classroom and lab instruction in the medical laboratory science program; maintaining regularly posted office hours at times convenient for students; participating in program meetings; and developing and maintaining skills in a variety of teaching/learning methodologies, including online course instruction. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan by the first day of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2026 at the earliest and January 2027 at the latest.

We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach one course or a variety of courses, in one or more of the following degree programs: Building Construction Technology AAS, and Construction Management BS. In addition to the more common topics associated with the degree programs, experience in construction, surveying, construction finance, construction law, and virtual design and construction will be considered. Assignments may be lectures or labs; face-to-face, blended, or online; in Big Rapids. A focus on student success, office hours, and the use of current technology is expected. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan by the first day of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date for this position is August 2026 at the earliest, and January 2027 at the latest.
