Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience, the Digital Marketing Specialist, Web Content is responsible for developing and maintaining engaging, search-optimized website content that supports Ferris State University’s marketing and enrollment efforts. This role collaborates across departments to manage web updates, oversee academic program landing pages, and support internal communications. They also play a critical role in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy, keyword tracking, and organic content development to improve search rankings and user engagement. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future. Manager - Service Desk Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Service Desk Manager leads and advances service desk operations in a higher education environment, aligned with the HDI Support Center Maturity Model and leveraging the Team Dynamix IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. This role oversees several full-time employees and numerous part-time student employees. The manager is responsible for the walk-up service desk, contact center, ITSM workflows, knowledge management, and hardware repair services supporting faculty, staff, and students. The position emphasizes service quality, operational efficiency, staff and student development, data-driven decision-making, and continuous service improvement. This is a highly visible area of ITS and a highly customer service-driven team. Executive Assistant to the Vice President of UA&M Big Rapids, MI 49307
The highly motivated Executive Assistant will provide advanced, high-level administrative support to the Vice President of University Advancement and Marketing. This role demands outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to handle highly confidential information with integrity and discretion. The successful candidate will manage the Vice President’s schedule; coordinate extensive travel logistics; provide executive and tactical support for capital campaigns; manage logistics for high-profile donor meetings and asks, foundation board meetings and events, and alumni events; and coordinate communication across the division. The assistant must be available to the team during and outside standard business hours when necessary, and possess an outstanding work ethic, sound judgment, and trustworthiness. Daily activities include regular interaction with the President's cabinet, deans, associate vice presidents, fellow executive assistants, Ferris Foundation Board members, major donors, alumni, and community leaders. Clery Compliance Officer Big Rapids, MI 49307
Reporting to the Director of Public Safety, the Clery Act Compliance Officer serves as the campus coordinator responsible for compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. Working collaboratively with the Ferris State University Department of Public Safety and other campus departments, the Clery Act Compliance Officer serves as the expert resource for all laws and regulations as outlined in the Federal Clery Act, as well as laws and regulations pertaining to the processing, retention, release, and disposition of Department of Public Safety and Clery records. This position helps develop a comprehensive, “best practice” Clery Act Compliance program. Administrative Assistant to the Dean Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Administrative Assistant to the Dean provides responsible, independent, and complex administrative support to the Dean and the College. The individual in this role coordinates and assists with managing office operations, financial and personnel processes, communication flow, and event planning. In addition, they serve as a liaison for the dean’s office across university departments, ensure the timely completion of administrative tasks, and support college priorities and initiatives. At all times, they maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of their role. This position reports to the dean of the college. The anticipated start date for this position is August 2026; however, this is an estimate and may be revised if needed.
