The AVP also oversees staff development and represents RPI in national research administration and compliance organizations.

The Sr. Research Scientist leads advanced research at the Center, overseeing the Power Electronics Applications Laboratory (PEAL) and driving collaborations with the power electronics industry. This role manages PEAL operations, lab safety, and supervision of users, while supporting industrial partners in testing, characterization, and modeling of power electronics, including wide bandgap devices and power converters.
