Risk Management Analyst Alabama
The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is seeking a Risk Management Analyst I to support our institution in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. The Risk Management Analyst will play a vital role in safeguarding the institution and promoting a culture of safety, risk awareness, and compliance with life-safety codes.
Counselor Alabama
The Counselor provides mental health counseling with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity. They will need to be energetic to work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health through outreach events and campus-planned events. The incumbent will provide services to a very diverse population to counsel, support, and consult in regard to psychological, social, and emotional well-being, along with enhancing the student’s personal growth, development, and adjustment to University life. The Counselor will be expected to help plan and conduct suicide prevention workshops, substance abuse workshops, and other identified group needs on campus. They will collaborate with staff from Student Health Services, the university, and community service agencies in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational and outreach activities, student needs, and campus concerns. They will need exceptional time management and are expected to participate in professional development activities and training. They will provide crisis intervention and assessments when necessary, including night and weekend on-call duties as required by all other licensed professional staff in the Counseling Center.
Research Associate I, Step 2 Alabama
The Research Associate I will focus on the use of remote sensing and Geographic information technologies for mapping and monitoring in South/Southeast Asia countries.
Research Associate II, Step 2 Alabama
The Research Associate II will support the IMPACT Project Office at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). NASA's IMPACT Project Office monitors trends and progressions across the informatics, data science, and information technology communities in order to inform strategy and develop effective solutions for Earth science data management and dissemination. Additionally, the IMPACT Project Office provides a broad user perspective as to how NASA Earth science data and information are represented and communicated. The IMPACT project fosters cross-community collaborations in order to improve all phases of the Earth science data life cycle, including processes, policies, engineering, and information communication.
Computer Scientist II, Step 4 Alabama
The Computer Scientist II will provide geospatial and information technology assistance and specialization for the Inter-Agency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT) in the Earth Systems Science Center.
