F&O is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair for each of the University’s 90+ buildings and 500 acres. Under the general supervision of the Director of Planning, Design & Construction (Director), the employee manages various capital planning, construction, and renovation projects of a moderate to complex nature to ensure alignment with University and departmental goals. This role focuses on facilitating projects from concept through implementation in collaboration with the Chief Facilities Officer (CFO), the Director, and project stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: • Project Management: Manage projects from original concept through final implementation, coordinating scope, schedules, and budgets for moderate to complex construction and renovation work. • Compliance: Ensure projects meet all contract requirements, UAH standards, and applicable building and safety codes. • Coordination: Manage and coordinate the performance of design professionals, consultants, and vendors. • Reporting: Track project progress, budget status, and schedules, providing reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders. Note: Employment continuation is contingent upon the availability of future construction program management fee revenue funding. Residence Director Alabama The Residence Director (RD) is responsible for the programming and administrative management of a co-educational residential community ranging in size from 229 to 416 residents. This position has on-call responsibilities and answers to emergency situations. Fixed Asset Auditor I Alabama The Fixed Asset Auditor I will provide support to the university’s property control function by performing routine tasks related to the tracking, auditing, and documentation of UAH’s fixed assets. This entry-level position assists with physical inventories, data entry, and departmental coordination involving asset tagging, surplus management, and asset transfers. Working under direct supervision of the Manager of Fixed Assets and Capital, the incumbent has the opportunity to learn financial systems, state and federal compliance requirements, and campus-wide inventory procedures. The Fixed Asset Auditor I report to the Fixed Assets and Capital Improvements Accounting Manager and works closely with the Fixed Asset Auditor II and other Finance staff. Student Services Associate Alabama The Student Services Associate supports the Registrar’s Office by coordinating and processing official university documents, providing high-quality customer service to students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators, and managing key data entry and record maintenance functions. This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of student records while serving as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to academic data and Registrar services. Custodian Alabama The Custodian is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of the University. As a Custodian, the employee's primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the University's buildings.
