At LCRA, we are looking for a Water Conservation Coordinator II to join our Water Contracts and Conservation team! As a key member of the Water Conservation team, your experience in water conservation will contribute to the mission of protecting and preserving water in the Colorado River and the Highland Lakes. You will be trusted to:

- Have a strong understanding of water conservation practices and policy in Texas including, but not limited to TCEQ irrigation standards and the EPA WaterSense program.
- Provide experience in low water use landscape practices and have a willingness to potentially become a licensed irrigation specialist
- Participate in outreach events that will include LCRA’s municipal customers and their end users, neighborhood associations, school districts, and water conservation professional associations and businesses.
- Coordinate with Water Conservation and communications staff to encourage LCRA wholesale customers and lakeside customers to adopt water conservation best practices and programs.
- Establish new and building on current relationships with Homeowners and Property Owners Associations (HOAs and POAs) so that we can better deliver conservation best practices to them and their end users.

You qualify with:

- Six or more years of experience in water conservation, related program implementation and/or planning, or other relevant experience. 
- A degree(s) in business, planning, social science, environmental management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.  
- Driver's license

You are a great fit with:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of water conservation methods, practices, legislation and regulations specific to Texas and nationally

- Experience with social media and educational outreach campaigns
- Excellent customer relationship skills and a willingness to work proactively with our customers
- Knowledge of landscape irrigation conservation standards and agronomy best management practices with respect to water conservation planning
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
