At LCRA, we are seeking a summer intern to join our Supply Chain team! This role involves supporting our internal customer needs by supporting sourcing events, logistics activities and procuring vital materials and services needed in our day-to-day operations. As an intern, you will be responsible for utilizing a strategic mindset while aligning with specific logistics and procurement processes. Join us in driving excellence and innovation in our procurement processes!

You will be trusted to:

- Assist with solicitations for services and materials
- Manage and replenish storeroom inventory
- Support multiple stakeholders within the organization with their procurement needs.
- Support the on-boarding of material and processing of PO’s through or receiving process.
- Follow up on existing orders with suppliers and stakeholders
- Support special projects by representing Supply Chain and ensuring all LCRA purchasing, receiving, inventory and logistics policies and procedures are met.

You qualify with:

- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in sophomore year or has completed sophomore year and will be starting junior year.

You are a great fit with:

- Strong supply chain management mindset
- Strong computer background including material management systems (Maximo, PeopleSoft, SAP ECT), Word and Excel.
- Willing to consider applicants in their junior and senior year.
