This position will work as part of a team that provides training and customer support to bridge owners and their engineers/consultants on bridge design, load rating, and asset management. The position will provide engineering technical support for activities underway at the Center for Technology & Training, which includes work with the Michigan Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP), the Great Lakes Environmental Infrastructure Center (GLEIC), the Bridge Load Rating Program, the Roadsoft asset management software package, and other research projects. The position requires a strong background in civil engineering (roads or bridges). This position will coordinate efforts which may include other collaborating agencies and institutions.
