Clerkship Coordinator (.8 FTE) West Des Moines
The Des Moines University (DMU) Physician Assistant (PA) program Clerkship Coordinator position is responsible for maintaining official university records related to PA program clinical affairs, including clinical site and student documentation (35%); assisting in acquiring Supervised Clinical Preceptor Experiences (SCPE) availability (25%); scheduling students for SCPEs (20%); managing program data (15%); and providing administrative support (5%). Primary responsibilities are related to the clinical curriculum, but assistance with the didactic curriculum may also be required. This position assists the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) and the Program Director in supporting PA students and providing the highest quality clinical experiences.
Department Chair/Program Director Assistant Professor - Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology West Des Moines
The Department Chair / Program Director for the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences is a leadership role within the College of Health Sciences (CHS). This position is responsible for shaping and leading a doctoral degree program. Reporting to the CHS Dean, the PsyD Chair oversees curriculum development and program assessment, and engages in teaching and mentoring activities. The PsyD Chair is responsible for managing the allocation of faculty time, administering the program budget, and ensuring the educational and financial strength of the program The Chair represents the PsyD program within the College and University organizational structure.
Physician Assistant Behavioral Medicine (.8 FTE) Des Moines
Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to adult patients within an academic behavioral health clinic under the supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist. Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management, and facilitate group medical visits as assigned. Contribute to the education and mentorship of health profession students while supporting a collaborative, patient-centered model of care.
Revenue Cycle Manager and Privacy Officer Des Moines
We are seeking a highly accountable, hands-on Revenue Cycle & Compliance Manager to take full ownership of the financial performance of our multispecialty clinic. This is not a maintenance role. We need a strategic operator who can assess current revenue cycle gaps, identify root causes of revenue leakage, implement corrective systems, and drive measurable improvements in cash flow, accounts receivable, and collections. The ideal candidate is analytical and operational. This person must be willing to roll up their sleeves, rebuild workflows, hold staff accountable, and create transparent reporting that gives leadership real-time visibility into financial performance.

Annual Security Report

In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Des Moines University publishes an annual security report and makes it available to all current and prospective students and employees. The report contains a description of DMU’s safety and security-related policy statements and procedures and includes statistics of crimes reported over the past three years to DMU officials about incidents occurring on campus locations or nearby public property. The report also includes information about ways to stay safe and report security-related incidents.
