Faculty Development and Educational Support Specialist West Des Moines
The Faculty Development and Educational Support Specialist advances teaching quality and faculty growth at Des Moines University by delivering faculty development programming, facilitating workshops and presentations, and providing individualized instructional consultation and coaching to faculty. This position also contributes to the academic success of health professions students through direct academic support services. Working within Academic Support in the Center for Educational Enhancement, the Specialist partners with campus stakeholders and unit colleagues to deliver high-quality, evidence-based programming aligned with DMU’s mission and the needs of its health professions programs.
Assessment Data Domain Manager West Des Moines
The DMU College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking an Assessment Data Domain Manager to collaborate with program staff in support of data management, data quality oversight and data analysis. The data domain manager will prepare and manage assessment datasets and related tools, analyze data and assemble report materials in support of student learning and program effectiveness.
Assistant Professor Physiology and Pharmacology West Des Moines
Participate in educational instruction for programs within each of the colleges; develop and maintain a scholarly agenda; and provide service to the department, college, university and profession.

Annual Security Report

In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Des Moines University publishes an annual security report and makes it available to all current and prospective students and employees. The report contains a description of DMU’s safety and security-related policy statements and procedures and includes statistics of crimes reported over the past three years to DMU officials about incidents occurring on campus locations or nearby public property. The report also includes information about ways to stay safe and report security-related incidents.
