School of Social WorkThe majority of the graduate teaching assistant’s primary duties are in support of instruction including but not limited to the responsibilities below: 1. Serve as a primary or secondary teaching instructor in a class or laboratory 2. Assist a faculty member with teaching-related tasks 3. Grade student assignments which require knowledge of subjects taught in a class or laboratory 4. The position will also assist in advising university stakeholders on a variety of legal matters such as privacy, research, property, land use, construction, intellectual property, patent and trademark related activities, policy review/development, and monitoring legislative, regulatory, compliance related matters, and other duties as needed or assigned. -

Thomas Metcalf SchoolCertified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing who will work with students attending the Laboratory Schools through the Heart of Illinois Low Incidence (HILIA) program. The certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will provide instruction for students with hearing loss in a variety of classroom settings. -
