The Department of Economics invites a pool of qualified persons interested in non-tenure-track teaching positions in anticipation of possible openings throughout the 2024-2025 academic year and summer sessions.

In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, the School of Theatre, Dance and Film maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in part-time, non-tenure-track teaching positions.

Honors Mindset Seminar is students’ first Honors Learning Experience in the Fall semester to which they have been admitted to the Honors Program. This one credit hour course meets for an hour and a half, once a week, for 16 weeks. Topics include: The Dimensions of Honors Learning, theories and strategies of learning, and goal setting.

The Center for Civic Engagement, which administers the Civic Engagement and Responsibility Minor, (an Interdisciplinary Studies Minor) seeks to build a pool of non-tenure track instructor applicants.

Assist with day-to-day management of the athletics department flagship Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Threads, TikTok and LinkedIn accounts. Manage and create content for the Red Alert (X and Instagram) and Reggie Redbird (X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Facebook) social media accounts. Track, report and utilize social media analytics for the flagship athletics department social media accounts and track follower totals for the sport social media accounts. Collaborate and contribute to social media campaigns with individual teams, coaches and all administrative units to help tell an engaging and well-rounded story of the athletics department. Monitor student-athletes and coaches/staff social media accounts for safety purposes. Pitch, develop and execute creative content ideas in various mediums (photo, graphics, video, etc.). Keep a forward focus on trends. Archive photos and video content. Upload content to INFLCR for student-athletes/coach use. Utilize INFLCR, Slate and Talkwalker platforms. Monitor student interns on gamedays. Assist in coordination of creative content days for Illinois State’s 19 sports and cheerleading program. Take photos, videos, etc. on gamedays, meet days, etc. for Illinois State’s 19 sports. Other duties as assigned. As a part of your responsibilities, you will follow the regulations and guidelines of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Missouri Valley Conference or the Missouri Valley Football conference, the Athletics Department, and Illinois State University
