The primary function of the Events and Programming Graduate Assistant is to offer programs and events that link student and alumni populations to career development and career readiness opportunities. The CPGA plans and implements programs and events, assists with career fairs, and works to aid in achieving the goals of the Career Services department.

The student editor will be responsible for the formulation of editorial policy and all news-editorial aspects of the newspaper, including content, coverage, editing and the presentation of news and editorial matter. The student editor will have the final decision on whether a news story, photograph, editorial, column or advertisement is published and will bear responsibility for such decisions. The student editor will be concerned primarily with overall staff direction in the areas of news, opinion, photography, features, sports and editing.

Admissions Ambassadors are the face of Illinois State University. They assist in the daily operations of the Admissions Front Desk/Reception Area, handle inbound and outbound calls, identify and address prospective student and family questions, staff the front desk reception area, data entry, and other office duties as assigned.

Honors Student Leadership Team members contribute to the success of the Honors Program by engaging with current and prospective students. Members of the team will work in Honors Mindset Seminar, assist with planning and executing Honors events, mentoring Honors students through a lens of equity, diversity and inclusion, helping with recruitment, or providing organization and clerical support for the Honors Program office.
