The Associate Athletic Trainer will provide quality health care primarily to their assigned sport but support other staff members with health care for all 400+ student-athletes at Illinois State University. The Assistant/Associate Athletic Trainer will be responsible for all aspects of health care, including but not limited to: practice coverage, competition coverage, treatment, rehabilitation, post-injury care, injury prevention, and facilitation of physician referrals. The Associate Athletic Trainer will also assist in supervising Assistant Athletic Trainers and serve as a Preceptor in the undergraduate athletic training education program. Additional administrative duties will be assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.

The majority of the graduate teaching assistant’s primary duties are in support of instruction including but not limited to the responsibilities below: 1. Serve as a primary or secondary teaching instructor in a class or laboratory 2. Assist a faculty member with teaching-related tasks 3.
