Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) support the department and its faculty members in assigned courses.

The Honors Program is looking for engaging and motivated Instructional Assistant Professors to teach the Honors Mindset Seminar (HMS). HMS is a 1-hour class designed to introduce first-year Honors students to the Honors Program and to help them develop an Honors Mindset. This is a part-time, non-tenure-track appointment. WGLT and WCBU, the NPR member-stations in Normal and Peoria, IL, are looking to hire Illinois college students part-time. Primary duties may include: classroom teaching in Music Theory; tutoring undergraduates and/or graduates.
