About the Role
You are the eyes and ears of the business and will be in the office and out on ground making things happen. A day might include reviewing project plans and designs, setting out sites with survey marks, operating machinery, or supervising staff and contractors operating machinery. You will run safety inductions and focus on supervising a construction site for quality and safety outcomes while recording what you see and hear.
You may also work as part of a larger project team to construct fire access trails, build walking tracks, rehabilitate rivers, implement asset maintenance, help implement erosion & sediment controls specified by project plans and supervise staff and subcontractors.
About Soil Conservation Service
NSW Soil Conservation Service is part of the Department of Regional NSW and supports local, state and commonwealth government agencies to build and rehabilitate the Australian environment by providing specialist end-to-end services in environmental consulting, conservation earthworks, program management, project delivery and support services.
