Social Worker - English as an Additional Language - 974050 North
The Social Worker – EAL operates across both school and community sites as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, delivering social work services that support school staff, EAL students, and families. In this role, the incumbent will support an assigned network of schools by addressing student well-being and helping children navigate complex settlement and trauma-related challenges. The incumbent will provide expert guidance to the Department on school social work responsibilities for children from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. Additionally, the incumbent will lead initiatives to build capacity and promote best practices—whether within the Social Work team or the broader school setting—as directed by the principal and/or Supervisor.

Senior Policy and Project Officer - COI Implementation Unit - 978927 Statewide
Working within the CoI Reform Implementation team, the Senior Policy and Project Officer will project manage and support the implementation of COI recommendations that the Department is responsible for. Where required, the Senior Policy and Project Officer will provide authoritative policy and project management advice, guidance and support in relation to the effective implementation of COI recommendations and DECYP’s broader reform agenda to keep children safe.
