The Role & Project

MACA Civil are seeking experienced Project Engineers to join one of our civil projects team on a 15:6 roster FIFO from Perth! We are delivering civil works for valued clients in the Southwest, Pilbara and Goldfields!

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Specialist experience in project engineering and a working knowledge of project management.
  • A practical capability to offer technical support to our project supervisors.
  • Ability to collect and analyse data and carry out relevant compilations using available resources. 
  • Ability to prepare charts, tabulations, plans and designs for civil engineering works such as drainage, roads, airports, dams, bridges and other structures.
  • An understanding of managing procurement, plant, equipment and resources.
  • Estimating understanding of material costs and ensuring works are finished within specifications.
  • Oversee quality management including necessary documentation including performing and directing fieldwork and testing.
  • Understanding of how to interpret work assignment instructions and apply appropriate procedures and selecting equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of safety systems and processes. 
  • Knowledge of field and lab testing of construction materials and different soils.
