| This position is in the Division of Managed Care within the Policy and Contract Unit. It is responsible for the oversight as well as project coordination related to policy development and research including administrative rules, federal and state regulations, and contracts to ensure compliance of policies found in the AHCCCS Contractor Policy Manual (ACOM) and the AHCCCS Medical Policy Manual (AMPM). This position will oversee staff responsible for the project coordination, document control, development, maintenance, communication processes, and is responsible for facilitating the AHCCCS Policy Committee (APC) meetings.
This position is also responsible for providing technical assistance to internal staff, Contractors, and stakeholders, including policy interpretation. In addition to policy work this position will be assisting the Contract and Policy Administrator of the Unit with the development of Managed Care Request for Proposals including projects which may include complete project coordination, organizing and running meetings for various work groups and tracking work progress. |
