What You'll Do:
This position is responsible for completing written system analysis and design task that are technical in nature and in full scope of requirements. Develop and modify computer programs using IDEAL and COBOL of the highest of complexity; preparing JCL (or other operating control language) as required, test data for unit and system testing.
Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Performs technical systems analysis task.
• Testing and debugging programs.
• Coding and modifying programs.
• Participating in system testing.
• Performing user requirements systems analysis tasks.
• Reviewing, discussing and comprehending assignments with project leader.
• Documenting programs.
• Assisting Application Developers with assignments, technical tasks, and training.
• Attend status meetings. |

| The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) is responsible for youth committed to its jurisdiction by the county juvenile courts. ADJC is accountable to the citizens of Arizona for the promotion of public safety through the evidence-based treatment, supervision, rehabilitation, and education of the youth committed to its care and the continuum of programs and services provided to the youth transitioning from the state's secure care facility back to their communities. ADJC also facilitates the administration of the Interstate Commission for Juveniles and serves youth with significant mental health needs. |
