This position manages two teams: Healthcare Analytics Medical Economics and Data Governance.
The Healthcare Analytics Medical Economics team translates Medicaid claims, encounters, membership and other data into consumable actionable insights via summaries, visualizations and recommendations. It also enables AHCCCS to make data-driven decisions to meet the AHCCCS mission of reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care to those in need.
The Data Governance team establishes management and governance practices over the agency’s data assets. This includes championing data management and best practices in the agency and representing AHCCCS at the State Data Management Steering Committee. |

| The Arizona Advisory Council on Indian Health Care (AACIHC) is looking for highly motivated individual to join our team as an Academic Pathways Coordinator. Reporting to the Grants Manager (GM), the Grant Program Coordinator is a grant funded position that assists the Grants Manager in implementing the American Indian Health - AHEC (AIH-AHEC) and AZ Hope programs. The Grants Program Coordinator will assist with project implementation and assist to accomplish grant goals and deliverables. The Grants Program Coordinator will assist with implementation of the program's academic support coordinator, assisting high school students with college preparation/applications, serving as a resource for incoming college students during their first years, along with career counseling and scholarship identification. The Grants Program Coordinator will work closely with individual students and families, academic institutions, and the community to address workforce needs in American Indian Health and Tribal Health systems.
This position has the potential work from a Virtual Office (VO) setting or may Telecommute based on the unit's needs and will require statewide travel. |
