| The Records Management Specialist provides technical assistance to state and local agencies throughout the complete records life cycle, from creation to disposition. Working collaboratively with the State Archives, this role promotes records management best practices that support digitization and preservation initiatives. The Records Management Specialist serves as the primary records management liaison for the Trusted Electronic Records Repository (TERR), delivering training, educational materials, and ongoing consultation to agencies and records officers to ensure successful system adoption and utilization. This cross-functional position requires strong communication skills and the ability to translate records management concepts into practical guidance for stakeholders while also managing multiple relationships and projects simultaneously. |

| Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Quality Assurance and Improvement Office, and the Laboratory Licensure and Certification Office. Assists or determines the issuing of licenses to laboratories (Medical Marijuana, Environmental, Clinical). Maintaining current licenses (EPA, CLIA, ISO/IEC) for ASPHL by ensuring the minimum standards of proficiency, methodology, quality assurance, operation, and safety, and ensuring compliance. Conducts initial and annual inspections of laboratories, to determine compliance with the Statutes or Rules. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed laboratory upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed laboratory performing compliance testing. |
