This Grants Coordinator position is responsible for assisting the Chief Finance Officer in the execution to include draws, payments and reconciliation, monitoring and reporting of federal funds. The position must maintain technical proficiency in federal and state regulations and guidance and develop processes that ensure the agency's compliance. This position also assists agency and local government program managers with budget development and execution and conducts financial monitoring and addresses documentation and process shortfalls. Additionally, this position is responsible for corresponding with federal cognizant agents to address financial monitoring inquiries that cannot be resolved at the agency level and conducting on-sight monitoring visits, performs internal audit functions and makes determinations as to the adequacy of supporting documentation and processes. This position is also responsible for developing and providing training to program and local government personnel as well as developing, submitting, and disseminating various internal and external financial reports. |
