This position is responsible for the planning and supervision of all activities and programs within the Bacteriology Section. This would include supervising and reviewing the laboratory testing of priority biological agents classified as select agents; providing interpretation of laboratory results; providing consultation and training for staff, physicians and laboratories; developing and implementing new laboratory testing methods; budgeting and forecasting; and interfacing with federal, state and county health and regulatory agencies. |

Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Assisted Living
Facilities Licensing. Assists with or determines the issuing of licenses to licensed facilities and providers, maintaining current licenses
by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Conducts initial and annual recertification inspections of health care institutions
regulated by the Department to determine compliance with all applicable regulations. Review of quality systems by tracking documents,
corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed facility or provider upon receiving a
complaint or of an unlicensed facility. Performing services that need regulation. Corresponds with the regulated community or with
regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from licensees, develops standards, participates in rule-making, and conducts
inspections. Performs, assists or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence
regarding changes in the status of a licensee’s license, or other types of legal orders.

This position is located in a centralized procurement office which has Department of Administration delegated procurement authority. Works under general supervision. This position services the ADHS with subject matter expertise in the process of procuring goods and services. Develops Agreements using standard templates. This role will monitor contract expiration dates and ensure they are renewed on time. This position will also serve as the APP administrator and support all agency APP related requests. |

Under the direction of the Unit Deputy Warden, the incumbent will provide leadership and supervision of unit activities and is responsible for the safety and security of staff and inmates. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing diverse groups of staff, progressive administrative experience in managing inmate populations at various custody levels, monitoring and directing unit operations, security, and inmate programming. They will assist the Deputy Wardens in applying ADCRR’s vision using modern correctional practices. |
