The Child Welfare Investigative Specialist primarily investigates criminal conduct reports with allegations of felony child abuse and/or neglect, which may have resulted in serious injury, or death of a child. This position conducts home visits, and documents interviews, testifies in court, assists and trains staff in the navigation of a variety of registries and inter-agency databases. Under supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision-making, the Child Welfare Investigative Specialist is assigned to an OCWI unit. The Child Welfare Investigative Specialist adheres to county specific joint investigation protocol throughout the investigation. |

This position manages two teams: Healthcare Analytics Medical Economics and Data Governance.
The Healthcare Analytics Medical Economics team translates Medicaid claims, encounters, membership and other data into consumable actionable insights via summaries, visualizations and recommendations. It also enables AHCCCS to make data-driven decisions to meet the AHCCCS mission of reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care to those in need.
The Data Governance team establishes management and governance practices over the agency’s data assets. This includes championing data management and best practices in the agency and representing AHCCCS at the State Data Management Steering Committee. |

Building Maintenance Specialist

The Building Maintenance Specialist (BMS) performs maintenance tasks that require the application of highly skilled abilities in maintaining and repairing buildings and related utility service systems to include, building and grounds maintenance, plumbing, commercial electrical, carpentry, and industrial HVAC. Incumbent shall perform work with limited supervision from the 162nd Physical Plant Supervisor (PPS I). The incumbent shall participate independently or as a team while maintaining facilities under the care of the Arizona Air National Guard (AZ ANG) 162nd Civil Engineering Squadron. Incumbent assures all work is in compliance with state and federal codes; performs all assigned tasks within the established guidelines and instructions, adheres to established safety rules/procedures, ensures work is compliant with all applicable safety codes. Incumbent will be required to take immediate action in emergency situations and is responsible for timely reporting on corrective action. |
