Forestry Squad Leader ST JOHNS
The Squad Leader (SL) will supervise and lead the work activities of one ten-person forestry squad consisting of Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry (ADCRR) inmates. Duties will include managing workplace culture and teamwork; ensuring a safe and equitable workplace; and adhering to policies, regulations, and protocols. The SL will guide expectations, behaviors, interactions, and performance of the squad and will evaluate the performance of squad members. Work will include implementing forestry-related work, transporting squad members from the ADCRR facility to the worksite and back each day, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and inventorying equipment and supplies. It will also include documenting squad member time, incident records, training accomplishments, productivity metrics, and receipts. The SL will implement the Incident Command System and coordinate activities with law enforcement, ADCRR, and DFFM staff. The SL will participate in safety and compliance inspections, respond to emergencies, and perform other tasks as directed by their Crew Supervisor. The SL is responsible for recruitment, training, and motivation of squad members.

This position reports to the Bureau Chief of Women's and Children's Health and will serve as a lead program manager on key maternal and child health activities and grants. The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) is seeking Licensed Practical Pool Nurses who will be working under the general direction of the Correctional Registered Nurse (CRN). This position is responsible for performing daily nursing and healthcare to the physically ill, infirmed, or injured youth in a correctional setting. This is a pool position (temporary) and is not eligible for benefits. This position will be utilized to fill staffing shortages as needed. We are looking for LPNs that can work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with a flexible or set schedule. All shifts available, 3rd shift preferred and weekends preferred.

At the operations level, under general supervision of a fire department Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief and/or Installation Fire Chief, perform prevention, control and extinguish all types of fires on the ground. Coordinate and perform related rescue, first aid, and property conservation. Includes fires or potential fires involving structures, wildland, aircraft, missiles and separate component weapons or other materials.
