What You'll Do to Contribute to Agency Success: In collaboration with Agency Leadership and the Governor's Transformation Office, the purpose of this position will be to work with leaders throughout the agency to change processes to provide for better outcomes for AHCCCS members and stakeholders. Additionally, this position leads the project management team in the Division of Public Policy and Strategic Planning (DPPSP) which administers large scale projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders. Finally, this position will work with AHCCCS leadership and the Governor's Office to oversee the AHCCCS strategic plan and measure progress towards the agency goals. The Project Management and Process Improvement Administrator will work with leaders and staff throughout the agency to understand AHCCCS systems and processes and identify potential areas for improvement. This role will utilize their knowledge and experience to recommend tools and methods to leaders and staff to improve processes and track outcomes. The Project Management and Process Improvement Administrator will lead the DPPSP project management team which leads enterprise-wide projects. This role will require the administrator to know how to utilize project management tools to organize and lead large teams and balance competing priorities. This role will also lead the agency in establishing best practices for project management. The Project Management and Process Improvement Administrator is charged with assisting Executive Management in establishing and advancing a strategic vision for the agency. The role will be charged with updating the Agency Strategic Plan, administering internal workgroups, and tracking agency progress towards strategic goals. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the agency’s business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) is committed to providing supervision, rehabilitation, treatment, and education to committed youth adjudicated under state law as delinquent. ADJC operates and maintains a secure care facility for the custody of youth who pose a threat to public safety, who have engaged in a pattern of conduct characterized by persistent and delinquent offenses that, as demonstrated through the use of other alternatives, cannot be controlled in a less secure setting or who have had their conditional liberty revoked pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute (ARS) § 41‑2819. Each youth who is placed in our secure care facility shall receive rehabilitative services appropriate to the youth's age, needs and abilities, including education, counseling, mental health services, recreation and vocational training.

What You'll Do to Contribute to Agency Success: The Information Services Division (ISD) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Data Warehouse Developer for the Business Intelligence team within the Information Services Division at AHCCCS. The Data Warehouse developer will work with various customers throughout the agency to identify data needs and then define, develop and test new extract, transform, and load (ETL) solutions. This person will also be asked to maintain core production systems that manage the ETL processes, reporting application, and data warehouse. Occasionally this position will entail being on-call for production and technology support to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all data loads. The AHCCCS Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (DW/BI) team plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making that supports Arizona’s Medicaid programs and mission to deliver cost-effective, high-quality healthcare. The team manages an enterprise analytics ecosystem built on Informatica for ETL orchestration, Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL Pool for data warehousing, Cognos and Power BI for reporting and analytics, and Control-M for production workflow management. We are currently leading a major modernization initiative to migrate to Microsoft Fabric, which unifies our data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics capabilities within a single cloud-native platform. This transformation will empower AHCCCS to deliver faster insights, scale efficiently, and leverage advanced AI and automation for smarter analytics.
