POLICE COMM DISPATCHER TUCSON
This recruitment will be used to establish an 18-month eligibility list to fill current and future vacancies in Phoenix. Under direct supervision during training period, and under limited supervision thereafter, is responsible for simultaneously operating a multi-channel radio console and a multi-line telephone, while maintaining computer-aided dispatch systems and other computer systems. Responsible for receiving, coordinating and disseminating critical information from various sources and maintaining radio contact with mobile/field units to monitor response, progress and any needed support. This position works in the Communications Center which is responsible for answering 9-1-1 calls in a 24/7 operation.
ESEA CONSOLIDATED EDUCATION PROGRAM SPECIALIST PHOENIX
• This position will engage in leadership, coaching, and support for the implementation and evaluation of grant programs within the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). This includes a high degree of collaboration with Local Education Agencies (LEAs) as well as other ADE programs areas to design, develop and support academic programming around the state which supports federal programs. • This position is a leadership position which coaches LEAs to build capacity in building effective ESEA Programs. This position requires a high degree of knowledge in grants as well as school leadership with program monitoring and evaluation. • This position also requires a diverse and broad understanding of all ESEA programs and associated programs like McKinney-Vento and Equitable Services. This position will also serve in special leadership and point of contact roles as assigned, and may serve as the state point of contact for any ESEA program, such as: o 21St CCLC o Foster Care o Homeless o Equitable Services o Monitoring o Comparability o Professional Development o Rural Schools o Expanding and closing schools • Occasional in-state and rare out-of-state travel is required for this position. The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). This position serves as the administrator of the Bureau of Nutrition and Physical Activity (BNPA) evaluation programs and is responsible for overall management and supervision of evaluation activities within BNPA. As a senior level evaluator, performs supervisory and advanced professional analytical work in surveillance, needs assessment, program evaluation, management reporting, and modeling data to assess impact of potential program changes. Provides guidance to the evaluation team on best practices and direction for research and data related efforts within BNPA. Oversees and conducts advanced-level data management and analysis to inform policy decisions and monitor the effectiveness of cost containment mechanisms in the WIC program. Reviews and conducts literature reviews. Summarizes findings from literature and data analysis into policy briefs. Describes bureau progress in meeting its goals and objectives in major USDA programs for the WIC and SNAP-Ed state plans, as well as other programs and grants across the bureau. Reviews work products of peers and formulates plans for improvements. Provides technical assistance to bureau and office chiefs, program managers, and external stakeholders, including WIC directors and community partners. Participates in writing grants and other funding proposals. Represents BNPA within ADHS for shared data sets with other bureaus. Employee will be expected to make independent decisions and judgments based on their professional education, programmatic experience and training; this position maintains and shares information and data of a very confidential nature.
Deputy Inspector General REMOTE OPTIONS, PHOENIX
The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain a forensic accounting program for the OIG. In addition to supervising the activity and development of professional level staff, the position is responsible for conducting complex financial analysis and documenting findings. The position will manage caseloads and assist all OIG operational units as needed. The incumbent is expected to conduct interviews and provide expert, fact, and summary testimony as needed. In addition, the incumbent will conduct independent reviews of OIG programs and provide guidance and training to the OIG as needed.
