The Arizona Department of Public Safety is seeking a motivated professional for our Data Network Telecommunications Technician position. The Data Network Telecommunications Technician works under general direction assisting the information management bureau in the installation and maintenance activities of a multi-worker shop by determining workloads, establishing priorities, performing network communication cabling work, assigning technicians, and ensuring that project and maintenance work is completed on time. The Data Network Telecommunications Technician installs and maintains various types of electronic communication and phone systems. Performs related tasks as required.

Reporting to the agency Deputy Director, this position will act on behalf of the Director and Deputy Director, as requested, and may include attendance at Governor's Cabinet Meetings and external meetings to speak on behalf of the agency; coordinate with the Finance & Accounting and Information Technology divisions; lead the agency's strategic planning and policy efforts; responsible for oversight, implementation and continual improvements and updates to the agency's standard work process; and oversee the agency's Statewide Measures. Other duties as assigned.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, in Arizona, to include in-office hoteling, based on the department’s business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. |

Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Assisted Living
Facilities Licensing. Assists with or determines the issuing of licenses to licensed facilities and providers, maintaining current licenses
by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Conducts initial and annual recertification inspections of health care institutions
regulated by the Department to determine compliance with all applicable regulations. Review of quality systems by tracking documents,
corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed facility or provider upon receiving a
complaint or of an unlicensed facility. Performing services that need regulation. Corresponds with the regulated community or with
regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from licensees, develops standards, participates in rule-making, and conducts
inspections. Performs, assists or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence
regarding changes in the status of a licensee’s license, or other types of legal orders.
