Perform road maintenance and snow removal at the direction of Physical Plant Supervisor I. Perform routine inspections and operator level maintenance. Turn-in equipment to maintenance shop chief for periodic maintenance and services, maintain documentation as required. On occasion, supervises a Department of Corrections work crew or individuals performing road maintenance, construction or maintenance of barbed wire fences, and clearing vegetation from igloos. Assists FMO North crew members with all general work orders assigned, as needed. Perform all duties in a safe manner. Tracking and maintaining work order data logs for material cost estimates and time applied towards facilities work orders for all buildings and departments. Maintaining knowledge of life cycle longevity on job specific equipment. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics. |
