TELECOMM TECHNICIAN	VARIOUS-STATEWIDE, FLAGSTAFF, TUCSON
This recruitment will be used to establish an 18-month eligibility list to fill current and future vacancies in Flagstaff and Tucson over the life of the list. This classification is the core of the Telecommunications Technician series and may be entered by qualified new applicants or through promotion from Telecommunications Technician Trainee. Telecommunications Technicians install and maintain various types of electronic communications systems and equipment such as VHF and UHF two-way mobile systems, microwave point-to-point systems, technical investigative equipment, etc. Telecommunications Technicians often travel statewide working irregular hours and under hazardous conditions in the performance of their duties. Performs other duties as assigned.

Works with state troopers, Operational Communications, other Department work units, the public, and other local, county, state, tribal, and federal entities to obtain situational awareness related to incidents and events and perform information sharing and alerting functions. Provides timely email notifications about events meeting certain criteria around the State. Makes phone notifications to command staff and executive staff and calls out specialty work groups. Performs other duties as assigned.
WATCH CENTER SPECIALIST	PHOENIX
