WASTEWATER OPERATIONS MANAGER PHOENIX
This consolidated position oversees both the day-to-day water resource management and environmental utility compliance matters of the agency. The role serves as the lead hydrologist focusing on water quantity, historic water rights, and state-wide stream adjudications. Concurrently, it provides positive assurance that agency water and wastewater utilities proactively maintain regulatory compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and Clean Water Act (CWA). A key part of this position would be overseeing a variety of treatment facilities for both water and wastewater systems at over 18 state parks.

They must be able to build and strengthen strategic partnerships with diverse constituencies, organizations, teams, and agencies and ensure work is conducted with sensitivity to cultural, political, and social contexts. They must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to understand and analyze complex information and effectively present that information, both orally and in writing, to a diverse population.

As the State agency responsible for the administration of the Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance programs, and the behavioral health system, attorneys employed by AHCCCS are required to be capable of providing legal services related to the complex state and federal laws related to those programs as well as providing legal services relating to legal issues facing state agencies.
