| The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Accounting professional for the position of Financial Reporting Manager located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Financial Reporting Manager is a direct report to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible to provide leadership and facilitation of highly strategic system related internal financial reports, ad hoc specific and dashboards, directly to the Chief Financial Officer, System Administrator or the Board of Trustees. The position advises on or conducts technical research to identify, track and measure financial and or related data details, providing expert level consulting capabilities to the functional areas related to general ledger reconciliation support. This position leads or advises accounting operations on data gathering, researching and summarizing information for internal and external stakeholders related to regulatory compliance reporting and provides support for the completion of internal or external audits and to implement new generally accepted accounting standards. This position routinely represents leadership’s position in meetings, committees and in developing integrated functional projects. |

| This position will work independently applying clinical knowledge, judgment, and expertise to assess, coordinate, and monitor service delivery. This position will complete comprehensive assessments of available resources on service providers and individual members; review case material to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and policies; and provide timely resolution of multiple cases assigned. This position will also be responsible for identifying systemic issues for AHCCCS to address. This position will be hybrid with some in-office meetings, on-site investigations, and reviews as needed. Occasionally, this position may also participate as needed in urgent on-site investigations and reviews outside of normal business hours and weekends. |
