PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST PHOENIX
The Procurement Specialist ensures appropriate sourcing methods for the acquisition of products and services, including market research, analyzing, and interpreting contracts, preparing, and issuing timely solicitations for commodities and services. This position will also be responsible for the contract administration of Department-wide contracts and, in so doing, reviews of direct contracts, processes contract amendments, including extensions, rate adjustments, and contract assignments.
CUSTODIAL WORKER II PHOENIX
Under general supervision, the Custodial Worker II provides basic janitorial and/or minor maintenance services in various administrative, maintenance, or other DEMA operated government facilities. Cleans hard surfaced floors (including stripping, finishing/refinishing) walls, and carpeting; assists in inventorying, ordering and distributing job related supplies; changes bulbs, tubes, ballasts, and A/C filters; and may assist in general grounds keeping functions and assists in training new team members. May work with or supervise DOC minimum-security inmates.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 3 PHOENIX
Under the direct supervision of the Master Planner, this position provides administrative support for the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO). The Administrative Assistant 3 provides administrative and office support activities to multiple team members of the Planning and Programming (P&P), Department of Project Management (DPM), and Facilities Maintenance (FM) for the Arizona Army National Guard (AZARNG) Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO). Responsibilities include managing appointments, meeting and event arrangements, filing, correspondence, meeting minutes, and document formatting and processing. Admin 3 may also process and track payments of leases and prepare supply orders as needed. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics.
HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR BELLEMONT, CAMP VERDE, FLAGSTAFF, PRESCOTT, WILLIAMS, WINSLOW
The Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) operates all types of heavy engineering equipment and material handling equipment to include, but not limited to, 75-ton mobile crane, road graders, bulldozers, front end loaders and 10–20-ton dump trucks in support of road maintenance and railroad maintenance operations. May serve as lead HEO on specific projects ensuring workload requirements are completed as scheduled. Supervises a Department of Corrections inmate work crew as required. The Heavy Equipment operator (HEO) performs work within the ammunition storage area (ASA) which will place the individual within the explosives safety quantity distances (ESQD) Arc of a potential Explosion site (PED)
