The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to clinically assess and treat offenders and justice-challenged individuals. In this role, you provide substance abuse counseling to the inmate/offender population through group and one-on-one sessions. Conduct clinical assessments and develop individual substance abuse treatment plans and coordinate transitional pre-release planning. Interact with community providers and security staff. In addition, work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining statistical data/reports and accurate documentation as required by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. |
